VULLNETARJA BASHKON FORCAT ME KOMUNITETIN PËR TË NDËRTUAR BIBLIOTEKËN E PARË PUBLIKE
🇦🇱 | Vullnetarja e Korpusit të Paqes Danielle, fitoi një donacion nga LDS Charities për të ndërtuar bibliotekën e parë publike në komunitetin e saj pritës. Danielle, homologu i saj Tani dhe LDS Charities punuan me një marangoz vendas, Xhevahirin, për të projektuar ndërtuar dhe montuar rafte librash, tryeza dhe karrige për bibliotekën dhe ambjentet shtesë. Biblioteka është e pajisur me kompjuterë, printerë, skanues dhe libra në anglisht dhe shqip. Përmes krijimit të bibliotekës, komuniteti dhe rinia e tij do të kenë qasje në libra, informacione dhe përvoja. Biblioteka do të kontribuojë jo vetëm në arsim por edhe në të mësuarit gjatë gjithë jetës, kohezionin e komunitetit dhe mirëqenien e individëve në qytet. Në fund të fundit, kjo do të nxisë e rëndësisë së leximit dhe ndërtimit të një bote më kreative, inovative dhe më tolerante të hapur ndaj inovacionit dhe ndryshimeve.
VOLUNTEER JOINS FORCES WITH THE COMMUNITY TO BUILD THE FIRST PUBLIC LIBRARY
🇺🇸 | Peace Corps Volunteer Danielle, acquired a donation from LDS Charities to build the first public library in their host community. Danielle, her counterpart Tani, and LDS Charities worked with a local carpenter, Xhevahir, to design, build, and install book shelves, tables, and chairs for the library and additional offices. The library is equipped with computers, printers, scanners, and books in English and Albanian. Through the creation of the library the community and its youth will have access to books, information, and experiences. The library will contribute to not only education, but lifelong learning, community cohesion, and the well-being of individuals in the city. Ultimately, instilling the importance of reading and building a more creative, innovative, and tolerant world open to innovation and change.
